Combine first three ingredients in pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, add thermometer, cook stirring occasionally, to a hard crack stage (300 degrees). Remove from heat, add oil flavoring and coloring. Pour hot candy into prepared molds. Remove candy from molds when cool and beginning to hold their shape. Place on another flat surface to continue cooling.

To Prepare Molds:  Before first use wash molds with soap and water. Rinse and let dry. Grease molds with Shortening or Oil Spray. Place on greased surface (marble slab or Cookie sheet), insert stick and clamp with clip or clothespin till stick is held secure.
