Dessert - Cake and Icing

Cola Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour and sugar in a bowl. Set aside.

In a saucepan, combine butter or margarine, cocoa, and cola. Heat to boiling and pour over flour-sugar mixture.

Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, vanilla, and marshmallows. Beat together, mixing well. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan; bake 30-35 minutes.

Frost cake while still hot. Makes about 12 servings.

ICING

Combine butter, cocoa, and cola in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Place powdered sugar in mixing bowl, add ingredients from the saucepan and beat well. Mix in pecans. Spread over hot cake.
