Sugar Cookies

Cream together:

• (2/3) (2) cups of shortening
• (3/4) (2 ¼) cups of sugar
• (½) (1) Vanilla

Add than beat until fluffy

• (1) (3) eggs

Stir in:

• (4 teaspoon) (4 Tablespoon) Milk

Than add:

• (2) (6) cups sifted all-purpose flour
• (1½) (4½) teaspoons Baking powder
• (1/4) (¾) teaspoons salt

Divide dough in half and chill over night, roll to 1/8 inch on floured surface. Cut and place on greased cookie sheet. Cool slightly and remove to rack. Than decorate.

Bake at 375°, 6 to 8 minutes.
